Function:
Emodin do not dissolve in water, can dissolve in ethanol, slightly soluble in ether, chloroform, soluble in alkaline aqueous solution, sodium carbonate solution or ammonia solution in a significant red cherry. Emodin has strong antibacterial activity, emodin effective inhibitory concentration of 1.5 ~ 2.5ug/ml.
